I initially contacted D&M as I received a flyer through my letterbox. It was also a local company which I knew had been established for a while. Your sales person, Peter, was friendly, knowledgeable, informative and patient with my many questions and doubts. He was also not at all pushy which was one of my concerns when considering which companies to contact.

The quote he gave was competitive, if not the lowest (although I am always wary about taking the lowest quote in case this is a reflection on the quality). When the order was placed, I received a call from Dave who explained that it would be better to replace the patio door with French windows due to the limited opening space a sliding patio door would allow. It is exactly this type of experience and advice which is appreciated!

The order was amended for no extra cost and Michelle then sent me a detailed description by email of exactly what you would be manufacturing. Michelle was also very patient when I had a couple of hesitations over specific design features. The windows were ready to be fitted within the time-limit advised and when the fitters came (unfortunately, I do not know their names), they were also a credit to the company, starting early, working efficiently and tidying up after themselves so that there was very little mess for me to come home to.

Most of the windows were fitted in just one day. The kitchen was finished on the second day. The fitters then came back briefly later in the week to fit a couple of stop bars to the French windows. During a tea break, one of the fitters even took time to have a go a fixing a sticking front door (which hadn't been fitted by your company) by adjusting the hinges. In conclusion, I would have no hesitation in recommending your company and wish you every success for the future.

I have to say that you read so much about double glazing salesmen that you never know which ones to choose. We must have done our research very well as your team were a testament to the work ethic you advertise and we are extremely pleased with the result.
